The CashHub now offers joint accounts

We’ve just added the ability to apply jointly for a CashHub savings account. So, not only can your client and their partner benefit from great interest rates, they can now:

Introducing CashHub back-office integration

With the number of CashHub clients steadily growing we wanted to make it easier for you to track your clients’ cash holdings. We’ve therefore improved the integration of CashHub with back-office software, meaning you can now see CashHub holdings in bulk valuations.

Interest on Collective Investment Bonds

We are now paying interest on transactional cash balances in the Collective Investment Bond (CIB). A monthly adjustment will be added to balances held in transactional cash, called ‘Quilter Interest’. This adjustment will be allocated on the 1st working day of each month and will be calculated using a rate set by us.

Faster Payments for withdrawals

The Faster Payments system enables real time payments up to £1M, increasing the speed of withdrawals to clients for:

  •  Single ad-hoc withdrawals

  •  Crystallisation – taxable income

Pension top up service

Clients are able to make lump sum top ups into an existing Collective Retirement Account through our online Customer Centre and app. Advisers have the option to turn this on and off.

Online Expression of Wish updates

Clients can now view and update their Expression of Wish beneficiaries online.

Introduction of the CashHub

We’ve launched the CashHub, an online savings marketplace, that is fully integrated into the platform, and gives you and your clients access to cash savings accounts with competitive rates of interest from a wide range of banks and building societies.

Two new cash warnings

In line with the FCA’s ‘Improving outcomes in non-workplace pensions’ policy, customers will receive a yearly notification that their pension is at risk of being eroded by inflation when they meet certain criteria.

Improvements to correspondence

As part of ongoing improvements for customer understanding some of our key platform correspondence has been updated.

Increased adviser online withdrawal limit

Advisers can key online withdrawals up to £75,000, so fewer withdrawals will require paperwork

Improving your brand visibility

The Master User in your business can add your company logo directly into the platform to have it displayed on key platform correspondence, just under the Quilter logo.

Online correspondence for all new clients

Following feedback, and to support our environmental targets as a responsible business, all new clients will now be automatically set up to receive their correspondence online only.

Tiered adviser charging

Advisers are able to set up their Ongoing Service Charge on a tiered basis, with their own choice of band lower and upper limits and % fee.

Customer App invitation

Where an adviser opts their customer paperless, their customer will receive a letter with their code to use the Customer App

Vulnerable customers

Advisers are able to capture additional needs information, including correspondence formats such as braille, large print etc

Expanded Bed & ISA capability

- Bed & ISAs now allow applications from joint CIAs, and CIAs with a different owner to the ISA – maximising straight through processing.

- If any funds are being fully sold, the balance can add up to 105% of the Bed & ISA amount. This new feature cleverly helps to ensure advisers still maximise the ISA subscription if the fund value fell.

- A new report is available which shows details of all ISAs submitted in the period specified.

Multi-product applications

Allows multiple products to be used in the same new business applications and quotes. Additional benefits include easy replication of fund selection and one consolidated fee form.

Clearer Transaction Narratives

Transaction narratives on client statements for movements between X-Hub and the platform so that they include the name of the portfolio, and distributions paid now confirm the fund name
