For me, good financial planning starts with understanding what is important to you. I want to know what you’re working towards, what you want your money to achieve and what matters most in your life. From there, I can help you build a financial plan around your priorities, whether you’re looking to protect what you have, invest for the future, plan for retirement or make the most of tax-efficient opportunities.
I want you to understand your financial plan rather than simply be told what to do. I’ll take the time to explain things clearly and answer all your questions. My aim is for you to feel informed and confident about how your finances can support the life you want, both now and in the future.
Before becoming a financial planner, I spent five years teaching scuba diving, from complete beginners through to those working towards advanced qualifications. Diving taught me how important it is to build trust, communicate clearly and help people feel safe when faced with something new. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching was seeing someone overcome their nerves, have that light-bulb moment and realise they were capable of more than they thought.
I later moved into management, where I developed further experience in coaching, training, problem-solving and supporting people. I still draw on those skills when working with people today; taking the time to listen, understand and find practical ways to help.
Outside of financial planning, I’m adventurous and active, and I’m always looking for something new to try. I still dive for fun and it remains one of my biggest passions. I also enjoy the gym, hiking, bouldering and, more recently, roller derby. I love pushing myself outside my comfort zone and approaching life with curiosity and a sense of adventure.
I’m based in Swansea and love having the coast and countryside so close by.
