What is cashflow modelling?

It’s the unknown that makes planning for the future difficult. Your life is full of lots of choices that can impact your financial situation. So how can you look all the way ahead to your later life with any kind of certainty?

This is where cashflow modelling comes in. Essentially, it’s a tool used by advisers like me to get an idea of how your financial future could look. I put in lots of data about you and your financial circumstances, and that lets me predict what could happen, and compare different scenarios against each other.

It means we can do things like: see whether you can afford to gift your grandchildren money towards their education, gauge whether your finances will last you into retirement, or understand whether you need to make some changes to achieve your goals.

Pension planning is another key area of my practice. I understand how important it is for individuals to feel secure about their retirement, so I work closely with my clients to develop strategies that maximize their pension contributions while optimising tax efficiency. Whether they’re just starting out in their careers or approaching retirement, I offer tailored advice to help them achieve a comfortable and worry-free future.

In addition to wealth management and pension planning, I also provide guidance on savings strategies and protection. I help clients build financial safety nets through well-structured savings plans, ensuring they’re prepared for both short and long-term needs.

My expertise in protection strategies, including life insurance, critical illness cover, and general insurance, ensures that my clients and their assets are safeguarded against life’s uncertainties.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and playing sport-mainly cricket and hockey. The latter I have been fortunate enough to be selected for Wales masters and play indoor and outdoor world cups, travelling as far as Auckland in the process!
