A little bit about Deepak

I’ve spent over 10 years in financial planning, starting as a paraplanner before moving into an adviser role. Along the way, I’ve built a strong blend of technical knowledge and real‑life client experience, supported by more than five years as a qualified Financial Planner. I genuinely enjoy helping people feel confident about their finances, and my approach is friendly, thoughtful and supportive, with a focus on what truly matters to each client.

Have you considered the importance of estate planning?

Many people don’t realise that inheritance tax (IHT) can apply once your estate goes over £325,000, although some people may also benefit from an additional residence nil rate band when passing on a home to direct descendants. This includes property, money, investments, and everyday belongings, and from April 2027, unused pension savings may also form part of your estate for inheritance tax. This can affect how much of your wealth is ultimately passed on to the people who matter most.

Estate planning helps ensure your wishes are followed and that as much of your estate as possible passes to the people you choose. However, the rules around inheritance tax can be complex and lots of people don’t understand how allowances apply or what their tax position will be.

That’s where I can help. I can help you to get a clear picture of the value of your taxable estate, explore ways to manage or reduce any tax liability and put a long-term plan in place that fits your goals and circumstances.

If you’d like to take control of your legacy, let’s talk about how I can support you.

Holistic planning

Establishing and reviewing trusts, complete personal risk management planning, short- and long-term savings and investments.

Investments

Wealth management advice to make your money work as hard as it can for you, including making the most of any tax breaks available.

Pensions

Expert advice to help provide comfort in your retirement.

Protection

Whole of life and term assurance protection, private medical arrangements, critical illness insurance.

Diploma for Financial Advisers

  • The Diploma for Financial Advisers from the London Institute of Banking and Finance is the primary award for financial planners that develops core technical understanding across a broad range of key financial planning areas.

I began my journey in financial planning over a decade ago, starting out as a paraplanner where I developed a solid technical grounding and learned the importance of clear, client‑focused advice. After several years supporting advisers, I moved into a trainee adviser role and continued to grow through hands‑on client work, mentoring, and ongoing professional development.

For over five years, I’ve been a qualified Financial Planner, combining my technical expertise with practical experience to help clients feel informed, supported and confident about their long‑term financial plans. I take pride in offering advice that feels personal, thoughtful and easy to understand, and I’m committed to being someone clients can rely on at every stage of their journey.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Keeping fit and balanced is also important to me, and I regularly practise yoga and meditation to stay focused and energised. This mix of family time, creativity and wellbeing helps me bring a calm, positive approach to my work with clients.
