Quilter Foundation bike ride challenge 2021

The Quilter Foundation bike ride challenge 2021 pedals off.

From Friday 11 to Sunday 13 June, over 100 Quilter colleagues and advisers will take to the road for The Quilter Foundation bike ride challenge.

11 June marks the first day of The Quilter Foundation’s virtual bike ride challenge. Within two months, over 100 colleagues and advisers from across the business have signed up to take on the challenge to raise money for The Quilter Foundation. Over the course of the weekend, the team have pledged to collectively cycle 14,000km and so far, have raised over £3.5K.

If you would like to support them, head over to the JustGiving page to leave a sponsorship donation and message of encouragement for our riders, this will help push them even further in the challenge!

Your donations will ensure that through our charity partners, Carers Trust and Crossroads, young carers in the UK and IOM will continue to receive vital support from specialist workers, as well as access to small grants to help ease the pressures of financial concerns or secure funding for necessities.

Funds raised through the bike ride will go towards alleviating some of these pressures faced by young carers and here’s how you can help:

  • Just £10 could provide a young carer with a care package to help them to relax and unwind. This package would include items like chocolate, herbal teas, hand cream and bath salts.
  • £25 could help a young carer join a drama workshop, driving their passion to do something they love and preparing them for a future career in acting or theatre production.
  • £50 could go towards supporting a young carer on their employment journey, by helping them to purchase a new set of interview clothes so they can feel more confident for virtual or face-to-face interviews.

Your generosity will have a huge positive impact on young carers in the UK and IOM. You can donate here.

Finally, a massive THANK YOU and GOOD LUCK to all the Quilter cyclists that have signed up to take part in this incredible challenge.
