Do I pay inheritance tax on gifts to my spouse?

No. Gifts between spouses and civil partners are exempt from inheritance tax, whatever the amount, where both are UK long-term residents (HMRC). Anything you leave your spouse or civil partner also passes without using your allowances, and your unused allowances transfer to them, although they may need to be claimed rather than passing automatically.
