Aim to maximise your cash savings
It might shock you to know that 28% of people hold their cash in interest-free savings accounts(1), receiving no return on their hard-earned money. Because under current rules a basic rate taxpayer can earn up to £1,000 in interest from their savings without paying tax, these people could be missing out on a significant financial boost that they could be enjoying.
This is even more relevant when you consider that the average person typically holds up to 25% of their available money on cash deposit(2). So, by reviewing your cash and tackling any ‘lazy money’, you’ll be making a great start at getting your finances in shape and achieving longer-term financial security.
If your money isn’t working as hard as it could, I can help. By making it easy to access potentially better interest rates, I can help you to aim to maximise your cash savings – giving you more money to spend on the things you enjoy or helping you grow your money towards a longer-term goal.

More about me
I take the time to get to know my clients and appreciate that they may not have the time to devote to analysing their financial position to ensure their investments are tax efficient and produce the desired returns with an appropriate level of risk. I am also acutely aware that clients may not necessarily put adequate levels of protection in place for themselves and their families to minimise the impact of any adverse events life may throw at them.
I help my individual or organisational clients put plans in place which:
- Are directly aligned with their objectives
- Help achieve financial independence as rapidly as possible
- Avoid any unnecessary inheritance and personal tax exposures
- Ensure sufficient resources are available to do what they want when they stop working
- Preserve wealth over the long term using appropriate estate planning strategies.
I offer an initial financial well-being check at my own expense where I run through my potential clients' financial needs and expectations. In terms of background, I am a commercially astute, highly accomplished, finance professional with consulting and corporate experience in organisations including, Reuters (now Refinative), FTSE (now FTSE Russell) and Booz Allen Hamilton. I am Investment Advice Diploma Qualified (CISI, level 4), a Qualified accountant (ACMA) and MBA (Cranfield School of Management). On a personal level, I play tennis at club level and enjoy spending time with family.
