What you’ll need to get started:
- The new user’s name, date of birth, email and mobile number.
- Your adviser firm’s FCA number.
1. From the platform homepage click on ‘System Admin’.
2. Click on ‘Add User’.
3. Select ‘Set up a new adviser user’ or ‘Set up a non-adviser user’.
4. On the ‘user details’ screen:
- Select the ‘access level’ from the dropdown menu.
- Complete the required contact information fields.
- Click ‘Next’.
5. On the ‘user account access’ screen:
- Select the clients that the user needs access to (this could either be all clients under your firm or clients belonging to particular advisers) or duplicate another user’s access.
- Click ‘Next’ to continue.
6. Click ‘Submit’to create the new user.
- A green banner will appear at the top of the screen ‘You have successfully created a new employee record. Please click the invite button to send them their online activation email.’ You will then need to click on ‘Invite’.
7. Capture Mobile step of the ‘Invite’ new user process.
- The Master User is then taken to the ‘Invite’ pages, they’re presented with a screen replaying the name & email address of the new user. The Mobile number for that user can then be entered and the Master User selects ‘Next’.
8. Confirmation step of the ‘Invite’ new user process.
- The Master User is then presented with a screen replaying the name, email address & Mobile of the new user. The Master User ‘SEND INVITE’ the Master User is then presented with a congratulations message and can select to view the new user’s ‘profile’.
- The new user will receive an email with a link to complete their set-up. This includes setting their Username & Password at which point they’ll receive an authorisation code to enter and will land in the Q-Pass page.
