Benefit

Paying by Debit Card helps to ensure your clients’ investments are invested as quickly as possible.

Need to know

  • Debit Card payments can be made where the value is between £25 and £100,000 (minimum payments must also meet our minimum product limits)
  • It must be a Debit Card, as we are unable to accept payment from a Credit Card.
  • The Debit Card must be from a UK based institution and payment must be through a UK IP address
  • We recommend that your client confirms to their bank that a large Debit Card payment will be requested, the bank will then be able to lift any limit on the card.
  • Any payment from individuals that aren’t account holders should be input as 3rd party single payments online. This includes any payments made by a spouse.

We accept bank transfers when paying into any of our products. The bank account details you need to pay to will depend on the type of investment your client is making. It is important you include your client's account number with us as reference for bank transfers.

Need to know

  • When you submit an online application, the system will confirm the amount you need to pay to us, inclusive of any initial fee. Ensuring the payment matches this amount will help to ensure your client’s investment is made as soon as possible.
  • Wherever possible, please make payments as a single payment. Making multiple payments can make it harder to match your client’s payment to the application.
  • Please include your clients sub-account number to help us swiftly match the payment to the application.
  • Any payment from individuals that aren’t account holders should be input as 3rd party single payments online. This includes any payments made by a spouse.

Direct debits can be set up to fund regular investments for all our products, apart from the Collective Investment Bond, which only accepts lump sums. You can specify the date your client would like their Direct Debit to be collected, on any day from 1 to 28 of the month.

Regular investments can be set up online as part of our application process and you now have the flexibility to amend existing instructions online as well. You can find out how to complete this quick and easy process with our step-by-step guide.

Need to know

  • If your client’s next Direct Debit collection is within the next eight day’s then any amendment you make will take effect after the next payment has collected. This means that if you amend the collection date it may result in two collections being made in the same month.
  • If you are amending a regular contribution for an employer, an Employee Payer Declaration will need to be sent to us, either by post or using our online mail processing tool, PROMPT. This form is not required where the payment is being cancelled
  • Any payment from individuals that aren’t account holders should be input as 3rd party payments online. This includes any payments made by a spouse.

Cheques should be made payable to:

Need to know

  • Please use blue or black ink when writing the cheque (other colours will result in your cheques being rejected by the bank).
  • It is important you include the client's account number with us on the back of cheques. The account number is in the format AC9999999-999.
  • The client should sign their name rather than initialling any amendments that are made to a cheque.
  • Ensure the cheque is signed by all necessary parties, is dated correctly and that words and numbered amount are the same.
  • Any payment from individuals that aren’t account holders should be input as 3rd party single payments online. This includes any payments made by a spouse.
