What are the key features of your client reporting tool?

Our client reporting tool is a powerful, interactive way to produce clear, tailored reports for client reviews. It helps advisers present performance, money movements and portfolio details in a format that supports deeper conversations and evidences the value of ongoing advice. With flexible features, enhanced personalisation, and intuitive reporting, you can create tailored reports that make a real difference to your client relationships.

Here are some key features:

  • Accessible and convenient: save reports straight to the client’s Document Library so they’re available via the app and online Customer Centre.
  • Detailed performance insights: show results down to individual asset level, including gains, losses and returns, and summarise a client’s assets in multiple ways for a clearer picture.
  • Greater flexibility: include up to 10 sub‑accounts in a single report and add CashHub accounts where needed.
  • Customisable structure: choose which sections to include and set flexible date ranges to suit each client’s needs.
  • Personalisation options: add your firm’s branding, adviser commentary, and a digital signature or photo to make each report unique.
  • Benchmarking choices: select up to two benchmarks (including IA sector benchmarks and CPI/RPI), or exclude them entirely.
  • On‑demand reporting: generate and save reports whenever you need them for future reference.

Reports can be produced at any point in the client’s investment lifecycle, creating continuity from initial recommendation through to ongoing reviews. Performance visuals, money in/out figures and your commentary come together in a single, easy‑to‑share document, helping you explain outcomes, set expectations and demonstrate the value of your advice in a way clients understand.

For account reviews, the tool will report on all of the historic holdings held in the account since inception, not just the current funds. You can choose to exclude the most recent switch from the report, or add in a fictional switch to show the performance had it taken place.

For reports on model portfolios, the switching history can be included or excluded in the performance charts, one or more transactions excluded, and fictional switches can be added at a date of your choice.

These extra features can really bring to life the value of your investment process and advice to your client.

The investment or portfolio can be benchmarked against one or more funds, a sector average or index to further evidence how it is performing. When choosing funds as a benchmark, you can use funds offered by Quilter or funds available externally.
