For me, financial planning is about much more than money. It's about giving people the confidence to make informed decisions, the freedom to focus on what matters most, and the reassurance that they have a plan for whatever life brings.
Before moving into financial services I spent many years teaching art and design. This experience means that I understand the challenges faced by those working in education, the creative industries and the self-employed.
Whether it's managing fluctuating income, balancing family commitments with career ambitions or planning for the future, I appreciate that everyone's circumstances are unique to them.
I live in York with my wife and our two teenage children. Outside of work you'll usually find me listening to 6 music or podcasts, planning our next family road-trip, visiting exhibitions or making the most of the North Yorkshire countryside and coastline with family and friends.
