Have you considered the importance of estate planning?

Many people don’t realise that inheritance tax (IHT) can apply once your estate goes over £325,000, although some people may also benefit from an additional residence nil rate band when passing on a home to direct descendants. This includes property, money, investments, and everyday belongings, and from April 2027, unused pension savings may also form part of your estate for inheritance tax. This can affect how much of your wealth is ultimately passed on to the people who matter most.

Estate planning helps ensure your wishes are followed and that as much of your estate as possible passes to the people you choose. However, the rules around inheritance tax can be complex and lots of people don’t understand how allowances apply or what their tax position will be.

That’s where I can help. I can help you to get a clear picture of the value of your taxable estate, explore ways to manage or reduce any tax liability and put a long-term plan in place that fits your goals and circumstances.

If you’d like to take control of your legacy, let’s talk about how I can support you.

Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning

  • The Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute develops core technical and initial financial planning understanding.

I hold a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Sheffield, alongside the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4). My work bridges traditional financial advice with the tools and mindset of a new generation of professionals - focused on transparency, technology, and measurable results. I help both business clients and individuals make smarter financial decisions across pensions, investments, protection, business continuity, and tax-efficient planning. My philosophy is simple: combine evidence-based strategy with personal clarity.

Using advanced cash flow modelling, I show clients the impact of their decisions over time - turning abstract financial goals into clear, visual roadmaps. For business owners, I provide integrated advice that aligns corporate and personal finances, ensuring that company structures, pensions, and investment strategies all work together efficiently. For individual clients, I take pride in offering straightforward, jargon-free guidance that helps people build and protect wealth with confidence. I’m passionate about investing and spend much of my time exploring quantitative strategies, using Python to build financial models and test ideas that challenge traditional market thinking. This data-driven curiosity shapes the way I approach client portfolios - always looking for innovative, risk-aware opportunities to enhance performance.

Outside of work, I’m an active person who enjoys Football, Basketball, Golf, and Chess - pursuits that reflect both my competitive edge and strategic mindset. Whether on the field or at the desk, I’m always thinking a few moves ahead. Ultimately, my goal is to redefine what modern financial advice looks like - blending professional rigour with technology, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to helping clients achieve financial freedom in a fast-changing world.
