Financial advice is about more than managing money

When people think about financial advice, they often think about investments. But financial advice can support a much wider range of decisions, helping you plan confidently for the future and make the most of the opportunities available to you.

More support than many people realise

More support than many people realise

New research commissioned by Quilter and conducted by Boring Money found that many people understand how advisers like me can help with investments, but are less aware of the wider support available through professional financial planning.

As an adviser, I may be able to help with:

  • retirement planning
  • tax planning opportunities
  • pension consolidation
  • estate and legacy planning
  • financial planning through major life events
  • managing investments through changing market conditions.

Building confidence in your financial future

Financial decisions can feel complex at times, particularly as circumstances, legislation, and markets change.

If we work together, I can help you:

  • gain clarity over your options
  • understand opportunities available to you
  • stay focused on long-term goals
  • build a clear financial plan
  • make informed decisions with confidence.

If this sounds good to you, please get in touch.

Managing your money can feel complicated, and finding the time to understand all the options available to you can be difficult alongside the demands of everyday life. With so much information available, knowing where to start and which decisions are right for you isn’t always straightforward. I believe good financial advice should make things simpler, giving you clarity and confidence while helping you make the most of your money and enjoy the life you want.

I take a holistic approach, looking at the whole picture rather than individual financial decisions in isolation. I work with individuals, families and business owners to understand their circumstances, priorities and aspirations, then bring these together to create a plan that is tailored to them. My aim is to make the process straightforward and give people confidence in the decisions they are making.

I spent over 10 years working in the financial services industry as a Project Manager and Business Analyst, before making the move into financial planning. The skills I developed in understanding complex information, solving problems and turning ideas into practical plans (and backup plans!) are just as valuable when helping people with their finances.

Outside of financial planning, I’m usually a taxi driver for my son’s various activities, watching sport (particularly football, rugby and F1), or trying to fit in running and weightlifting around family life. My wife and I are lucky to have family around the world so love to travel and see them regularly in Singapore and Malaysia with dreams of a trip to New Zealand.
