The best part of my role is building genuine relationships with my clients, taking the time to understand the life you’ve built, the goals ahead of you and what truly matters most.
Clients typically come to me because they want clarity, structure and confidence in their financial planning decisions. Most people don’t lack options, they lack certainty that their plan is working for them. Common reasons clients seek my advice include:
- You’re building wealth and want confidence that your savings and investments are on track.
- Retirement is approaching and you want clarity on pension options, when you can step back and what your life will look like.
- Your responsibilities are growing; family, mortgages, or a business and you want everything protected through insurance and risk management.
- You’re planning to pass on wealth in a structured, tax-efficient way through inheritance and estate planning.
- Your finances have grown over time but now feel fragmented, unclear, or harder to manage.
I take the time to understand your full situation so we can build a tailored, targeted and tax-efficient financial plan that helps you make confident decisions and stay in control, whatever life throws at you.
My approach to financial planning is shaped by a process with you at the centre:
Understanding You – Your goals, priorities, and current position
Financial Review – Understanding your financial picture and all its parts across savings, investments, pensions and insurance.
Planning – Creating a tailored, targeted, and tax-efficient strategy aligned with your goals and long-term vision.
Ongoing Reviews – Regularly reviewing and where necessary adapting your plan as your life evolves, ensuring your money continues to work hard and protect what matters most to you.
This approach ensures your financial plan remains flexible, relevant to your life and aligned with what matters most to you.
Before becoming a Financial Planner (Adviser), I spent 11 years in the Royal Navy, much of that time based in Portsmouth onboard Type 45 Destroyers. I worked in high-pressure environments where clear thinking, structure, and forward planning were critical. Skills I now apply to helping clients navigate complex financial decisions.
The highlight of my military career was receiving the King’s Commendation for Valuable Service in 2025, following a deployment onboard HMS Diamond in 2024. I’m passionate about supporting service personnel and veterans with their financial planning, understanding first-hand the unique challenges they and their families can face.
I provide face-to-face financial planning across Portsmouth, Hampshire and the South Coast, alongside supporting clients across the UK remotely.
Family is a big driver for me. Outside work, I’m a dad, husband, brother, son, and friend. I enjoy long country or beach walks with our needy Cockapoo, finding the best food places with friends and staying active, so I can remain competitive with my brothers. I don’t fit the stereotype of being on the golf course, you’re more likely to find me ringside at a boxing or MMA event.
