Spend wisely and save smartly

June can be one of the best months of the year with summer well and truly on the way. But with all those holidays, weddings, anniversaries, and other spending, it can also be one of the most expensive too.

While you should be focusing on the present, it’s also important to be aware of how major outlays now can have a significant impact on your financial security in later life. A cashflow model can give you a clear picture of the consequences your spending and saving can have on your future.

It’s also good to know about the ways you can use your tax-free allowances wisely on certain expenditures. For example, your gifting allowances can let you pass on up to £3,000 a year to your loved ones without it being added to the value of your estate.*

Together, we can make a plan to help you live your life to the full now, while still having the retirement you want later on.

Nicola is located in Hampshire and offers expert financial advice to suit your needs.

My clients are at the very heart of my advice service. Together we shape a bespoke plan, personalised to their specific objectives, which evolve over time as priorities change. I make complex subjects clear and comprehensible, so informed and important decisions about one’s wealth can be made throughout life’s exciting and sometimes unpredictable journey.

Hampshire based most of my life, having also lived in London and Australia. Outside of work, my biggest lifelong passion is travel and experiencing new cultures, landscapes and cuisines. At the weekend, I enjoy socialising with friends and family, especially over meals out and dinner parties. I am a keen cook, and love trying new recipes, and also sticking to our family favourites.

Hobbies include putting my ‘gold’ rated mystery diner status to use and keeping active via walking, yoga and the gym. I also have an interest in property development, having done several refurbishments over the years, utilising the tax benefits of the limited company I set up.

As a mother of two very active tweenagers, I fully appreciate life is busy, so I am happy to offer meetings out of hours, and also face to face for those local. Please get in touch to arrange a no obligation initial appointment, whereby I will talk through your finances, objectives and next steps. I look forward to hearing from you!
