Financial advice is about more than managing money

When people think about financial advice, they often think about investments. But financial advice can support a much wider range of decisions, helping you plan confidently for the future and make the most of the opportunities available to you.

More support than many people realise

More support than many people realise

New research commissioned by Quilter and conducted by Boring Money found that many people understand how advisers like me can help with investments, but are less aware of the wider support available through professional financial planning.

As an adviser, I may be able to help with:

  • retirement planning
  • tax planning opportunities
  • pension consolidation
  • estate and legacy planning
  • financial planning through major life events
  • managing investments through changing market conditions.

Building confidence in your financial future

Financial decisions can feel complex at times, particularly as circumstances, legislation, and markets change.

If we work together, I can help you:

  • gain clarity over your options
  • understand opportunities available to you
  • stay focused on long-term goals
  • build a clear financial plan
  • make informed decisions with confidence.

If this sounds good to you, please get in touch.

Ian

Really great experience dealing with Luke, very knowledgeable and gave me an in-depth explanation of various scenarios relating to my issue, although ultimately it wasn't relevant to my situation but Luke was very understanding and as stated gave my advice nonetheless. I would definitely recommend Luke for any financial issues you need to talk through.

Christina

Luke was a highly competent advisor, very patient and helpful, I left our call with a to more clarity on my concerns. I would highly recommend :)

Jane

Listened patiently and carefully whilst I explained my financial and personal situation, then summarised my position. He asked about different scenarios and this allowed me to think about financial possibilities I hadn't considered. The meeting also helped me to think about my (im)balance of juggling jobs and elder care against income. I was impressed that Luke was so speedy with mental maths. I finished the meeting with clearer options and plans on how to access an early retirement.

Ian

The meeting with Luke was very beneficial, although this was the initial consultation meeting he gave me lots of good pointers and advice that has allowed me to consider my current financial position. Luke was profession, clear, but friendly throughout the meeting.

Martin

I found Luke to be a very sympathetic listener, generous with his time and experience and extremely valuable in clarifying a number of issues relating to my university pension that were troubling me. He was also good enough to summarise what we had discussed in a follow-up email. Thoroughly recommended.

Ruth

After taking voluntary redundancy I was not sure what to do with my payment to maximize my retirement income. I also wasn’t sure if I would get another job. Luke has given me excellent advice so far and I’m confident I have an expert on my side.

Sheila

Luke has been so easy to talk to , feel listened to and feel he has our best interests at heart. He has been helpful and supportive throughout our communications. Both Michael and I feel at ease about our finances in Luke’s professional hands.

Peter

I enjoyed meeting with Luke. He is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He clearly has deep understanding of wealth management for doctors and the fact that he is himself a doctor lends him a definite authority on the subject.

Mike

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
Require initial help and advise regarding SIPP however Luke was extremely helpful looking forward to potential financial investments and retirement planning and the help advise and support he may be able to provide moving forward

How has Luke Mitchell helped you?
Extremely helpful and certainly has given us a lot to think about without putting any pressure on us. the future advise he stated he could provide filled us with confidence and has certainly created some useful debates

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Not currently but a very encouraging start and the phase "work in progress" sums it up best

What could they have done better?
Nothing from Luke, he has been responsive and honest.
