Before moving into financial advice I worked in the startup ecosystem, first as an entrepreneur, later in government policy. I've built things from scratch, and I know what it's like to have irregular income, to reinvest instead of paying yourself, and to carry the financial responsibility not just for yourself but for everyone counting on you.
I'm a parent and former founder, so I know what it means to plan for a future that’s not just about you. When my son was born, my relationship with money changed completely. My timeline stopped being about the next few months and started being about the next few decades. I wanted to build a secure, durable future which gives me peace of mind and gives him a bright start in life.
That’s why I am a Quilter Financial Adviser : we are driven by the same mission, "Brighter Financial Futures for Every Generation". I want to help my clients build financial security that cascades through their families, from the oldest generation to the youngest.
I've seen what happens when people put off their own finances while they're busy prioritising everything else, a business, a family, a career. The cost of that delay is rarely obvious until it's too late to close the gap easily. In a nutshell, I simply love helping hard-working people build tailored plans for their future that makes the most of their money.
I spend most of my free time in the glorious outdoors. I like running, climbing hills, and playing tennis badly.
