I am a qualified Financial Planning Consultant committed to helping individuals, families, businesses and organisations prosper and make the most of their finances now and in the future. I help clients with expert financial advice and tax efficient investment solutions tailored to their needs to enable them build and preserve wealth; and achieve their financial goals with confidence.

I deliver personalised financial strategies, always putting clients’ needs at the heart of what I do. By combining expertise with empathy and a friendly approach, I make financial planning easy, clear and rewarding for my clients.

Could you be more financially savvy this tax year?

March, and spring more generally, is often a time for fresh starts. And now your tax allowances are getting one too. The new tax year begins on 6 April, giving you time to plan how you’ll use all those new allowances to your advantage.

Take your ISA allowance. It can be tempting to leave it until the last minute to use it up. But, if you’re able to pay into it at the beginning of the year, you’re potentially getting a whole extra 12 months of time for your savings to grow.

A review right at the start of the tax year, or just before it, can also help us spot if there are any tax incentives you could use throughout the year.

You might be surprised just how many people don’t do this - and miss out on money that’s rightfully theirs. These tax incentives can be things like increasing your pension contributions or charitable giving to help offset your income tax.

I can also draw up a cashflow model to bring this to life. The model allows us to explore and compare different strategies and scenarios, so you can see the difference it will make to your long-term finances and goals.

Prior to qualifying as a Financial Adviser and becoming Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) registered, I advanced in a successful career as a Chartered Accountant in finance leadership roles, working across complex organisations and international operations. My background includes senior accounting roles where I led teams, managed multi-entity finances, financial reporting, finance operations & strategy; and implemented key projects and accounting systems. This experience brings an extra layer of insight and rigour to the advice I provide.

I also hold an MBA from the University of Bath and an MSc Investment Management from Henley Business School - University of Reading. These set me apart as a robust finance professional with breadth of knowledge and expertise to support both individuals and corporations.

This blend of professional and academic excellence with real-world experience enables clients to benefit from strong technical knowledge as well as the friendly, personal touch I bring to financial advice. My focus is to provide easy-to-understand guidance and efficient solutions to the financial issues that matter most to them.

I am married with three lovely children. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking up a feast, gardening, taking nature walks with my husband, travelling and volunteering.
