Spend wisely and save smartly

June can be one of the best months of the year with summer well and truly on the way. But with all those holidays, weddings, anniversaries, and other spending, it can also be one of the most expensive too.

While you should be focusing on the present, it’s also important to be aware of how major outlays now can have a significant impact on your financial security in later life. A cashflow model can give you a clear picture of the consequences your spending and saving can have on your future.

It’s also good to know about the ways you can use your tax-free allowances wisely on certain expenditures. For example, your gifting allowances can let you pass on up to £3,000 a year to your loved ones without it being added to the value of your estate.*

Together, we can make a plan to help you live your life to the full now, while still having the retirement you want later on.

United Kingdom

Geoff is located in London and the South East, and offers expert financial advice to suit your needs.

I specialise in investments, pensions, estate planning and underpinning customer's needs and objectives with appropriate protection, with a particular focus on inheritance tax mitigation and pension advice. My career spans leading institutions including HSBC, Abbey National, and Bristol & West, as well as boutique firms like A J Gallagher, Citrus Financial and Shackleton Consultants, and I continue to serve a loyal portfolio of clients across London, Kent and Surrey.

What sets me apart is my ability to make financial advice simple and actionable. I believe the best plans start with understanding what truly matters to each client—then building a flexible, goal-driven strategy that evolves with life’s changes.

Whether meeting face-to-face or remotely, my approach is always personal, professional, and proactive.

Outside of work, I’m a proud husband, father, and grandfather. I enjoy theatre, live music, and cheering on rugby union at Twickenham and Murrayfield (my wife’s Scottish roots make the latter a family favourite).
