Money needs a plan. Here’s where to start

Money doesn’t make decisions on its own. Left sitting in cash, it quietly loses value. That’s why money needs a plan. It’s not about being wealthy or knowing all the answers – it’s about giving your money direction. And in the UK, many people miss out simply because they don’t take that first step.

  • Most people in the UK save sporadically or leave money sitting in cash – missing out on growth.
  • Planning gives peace of mind. It turns uncertainty into clarity.
  • The earlier you start, the more powerful the impact – but it’s never too late.
  • Quilter’s purpose is to help build brighter financial futures. That starts with a plan.
  • Investing always carries risk. The value of investments can go up and down and you may get back less than you invested.

Making your money work for you

Why investing matters

  • Lazy money loses value over time – inflation chips away at it.
  • Investing little and often helps your money grow without needing to be an expert.
  • A plan helps you stay focused and avoid reactive decisions.

Inflation and ‘lazy money’

  • Inflation quietly erodes the value of your savings.
  • £10,000 in cash today could be worth significantly less in 10 years.
  • Investing helps protect your money from inflation and grow it over time.

Gabriel's location

Walsall Wood
Wallsall
United Kingdom

Based in Walsall Wood and Aldridge, I’m proud to support clients across the local community and throughout the UK. While I enjoy working with clients face-to-face in the West Midlands, I also offer flexible meetings online or by phone, making it easy to provide advice and support wherever you’re based.

I help clients grow, protect, and manage their wealth through clear, personalised investment strategies that align with their goals, values, and stage of life. My focus is on giving clients confidence in their financial decisions by simplifying the complex and providing straightforward, reliable advice that leads to long-term success.

A significant part of my work is centred on Islamic finance. I specialise in helping clients achieve Sharia-compliant investments that stay true to their ethical and faith-based principles while still aiming for strong financial outcomes. Islamic finance can be intricate, with unique requirements around interest, risk-sharing, and the types of assets that can be held and my role is to make this process simple, transparent, and effective.

I work closely with clients to design portfolios and financial plans that meet their needs without compromising on compliance or performance. My background in economics has given me a strong analytical foundation and a deep understanding of global markets. Before joining Quilter Financial Advisers, I worked in banking and international economic research, gaining valuable insight into how financial systems operate and how to build resilient investment strategies in changing conditions. This experience allows me to bring a broad, informed perspective to every client relationship. I believe that good financial advice should give people clarity and confidence — not confusion. By understanding each client’s individual goals and values, I aim to create long-term plans that are both meaningful and effective, supported by trust, transparency, and consistent results.
