I originally come from an IT/Project Management background and have worked at Quilter Financial Advisers since 2015 in various departments. I am qualified as a financial planner, having achieved a Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA).
I like to dedicate my time and effort on understanding my clients’ personal needs, goals and objectives to ensure I deliver suitably tailored advice to them all. I take pride as a financial planner in helping people to make better decisions and live their life in the way they would like. I like to help and support my clients so that they can plan, protect, and enjoy their life to the full, safe in the knowledge they have my full support in financial matters.
Outside of work I’m a keen hockey player, umpire and coach for Newcastle Medics hockey club, plus I help with the running of the North East hockey league. I enjoy walks, a good book, computer and board games, music, sport (supporting Blackpool FC, Lancashire CC, Newcastle Falcons RU, ST Helens RL and the New York Jets), trains/engineering and history. I have a large range of interests as seen above and come from a family of primarily teachers and police officers.
I hold degrees in Computer Science, Maths, Business Management, Psychology and Politics. I also believe in helping those less fortunate and regularly raise money for different charitable organisations, including Trinity Hospice in Blackpool, MacMillan, Northumbria Blood Bikes and Scarborough Court near Newcastle.
