Can the right protection help you become more financially resilient?

Have you heard of the ‘protection gap’? You probably know someone who’s fallen into it.

Most of us know to get travel or pet insurance, or even just insure our mobile phone. But when it comes to really big life events, cover can easily get overlooked – causing a gap.

Far too many people aren’t properly protected against life-changing events, like losing their job or not being able to work because they’ve fallen ill. Which means that when these things do happen, they can have a much bigger impact than they need to.

Luckily, cover like income protection and critical illness can help people become more financially resilient. So, if you do have a financial shock, it doesn’t have to turn everything upside down. And it can be surprisingly simple and affordable.

If you’ve had a big milestone recently, or a change in your circumstances, it might be the right time to relook at your protection needs.

Reach out to me and I’ll be happy to help.

Adrian offers expert financial advice to suit your needs, covering Steyning and surrounding areas.

With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, I have spent a lot of time getting to know my clients and helping them over the years, which is the most rewarding part of being a Financial Adviser. I specialise in Wealth and Pension Planning. My approach is very simple - know your client and advise as if it were your family or friends. I have on occasion, mentored over the years and as a mature adviser I find it far easier to focus on the correct pathway for the client and not be persuaded by any other influences. I aim to provide clear, practical and good value advice and be there for my clients along the journey.

I am married with 3 teenagers and a dog who keep me busy. I am also the Vice Chairman of the local football club and enjoy being a part of the grassroots community and helping run the club with my fellow committee members.
