Spend wisely and save smartly
June can be one of the best months of the year with summer well and truly on the way. But with all those holidays, weddings, anniversaries, and other spending, it can also be one of the most expensive too.
While you should be focusing on the present, it’s also important to be aware of how major outlays now can have a significant impact on your financial security in later life. A cashflow model can give you a clear picture of the consequences your spending and saving can have on your future.
It’s also good to know about the ways you can use your tax-free allowances wisely on certain expenditures. For example, your gifting allowances can let you pass on up to £3,000 a year to your loved ones without it being added to the value of your estate.*
Together, we can make a plan to help you live your life to the full now, while still having the retirement you want later on.

After establishing our appetite for investment risk, Chris diligently reviewed our financial status and, after discussing options with us, made some recommendations on tax efficient investments and divestments, inheritance tax planning, insurance (of gifts) and pension planning for both of us.
Chris has kept on top of recent changes to pension contributions and limitations which has enabled me to take advantage of those changes.
Always ready to help and look at a challenge from many angles.
Personable and a good communicator.

Chris was recommend to me and although he lived many miles from me, he was able to communicate and advise in total confidence via regular Zoom meetings, e-mail and Telephone.
The advice he provided over several months proved invaluable and gave me the confidence to transfer my pension and invest in appropriate funds. Also he provided excellent advice on Tax, transfer values, risk analysis and legacy planning.
He provided cash flows, took my ideas and considerations into account and he organised and fully transferred my pension in good time. All this took place several years back had we have regular reviews and updates on my portfolio.
The outcome so far has been positive and I would 100% make the same decisions with the same adviser again. Chris recently advised me on different type of funds and the risks / advantages they offer.
I conclusion of this meeting was that my portfolio is now growing at a more improved rate and I am pleased with results.

I found Chris just by chance after my Wife Sadly passed away and her company that she worked for advised me to find a Financial Adviser to sort out her finances and past pensions.
Chris was amazing at sorting everything out and finding monies I did not know she had.

More about me
I understand that time constraints often limit people’s ability to undertake the required research to achieve the most suitable and most tax efficient returns from their investments. Also they may overlook putting in place adequate protection for themselves and their families from the surprises that life may throw at them.
I like to help my clients to put suitable tax efficient plans in place to ensure they can achieve their life goals, particularly ensuring that they make sufficient provision to be able to afford to do what they want when they decide to stop working.
I also provide advice on the best way to structure your finances to minimise the likelihood of you being subject to inheritance tax.
Advice can be provided to both individuals and to businesses.
I offer an initial consultation at my own expense to discuss your needs and expectations to establish how I can help you.
Outside of work I enjoy watching football, playing golf and spending time with my family.
