Responsible Funding
At the core of our work is a strong promise to fund responsibly. We make sure our funding is fair, honest, and matches what local communities need. By using this responsible approach, we build trust and lasting good relationships with our partners and those we help.
We believe in being clear about how we do things. Our processes are open and easy to understand, from the application stage right through to reporting. Anyone applying for funding, or already funded, can easily find out how we make decisions, what we look for, and what we expect. We also welcome feedback, as listening to our partners helps us get better.
To help those applying for grants, we run regular online support sessions. These webinars explain how to apply, offer useful tips, answer questions, and share advice to help organisations succeed.
We also see the benefit in using outside resources, so we point people to platforms like grantadviser.org. This website gives independent reviews and advice from the funding world, helping organisations make good choices and learn from others’ experiences.
