NewStart – Veterans Career Transition
Finding employment after serving in the armed forces can be difficult but former military personnel have invaluable skills and experience that can be used in a civilian career. Quilter’s NewStart programme supports veterans to transition into a new career by helping them translate their skillset, adapt to a different work culture and address common misconceptions. The NewStart programme aims to make sure veterans do not face disadvantage when they leave the military whilst ensuring our business recruits the best talent.
Quilter Returner Programme
Our Returner Programme provides supported routes back into work for people who have taken an extended career break of two or more years. It can be difficult getting back into working after a career break for a variety of reasons. That’s why our programme offers candidates bespoke return-to-work coaching to help with the transition back into permanent positions.
The Returners Programme helps you to successfully transition back into work through:
- tailored coaching sessions from Women Returners during your first few months in the role
- technical skills training (specific to your role)
- soft skills training
- updates on business and regulatory changes in the financial services industry
- networking opportunities to help you develop new relationships and broaden your professional network.
