Our habits around money are formed around the age of seven so ensuring that children are taught money skills is vital to help them manage money effectively in later life. We’ve joined forces with 20 of Britain’s leading savings and investment firms, to deliver KickStart Money, a groundbreaking initiative that is taking financial education to over 18,000 primary school children, catalysing a movement to build a national savings culture for the future.
Making financial education fun
The KickStart programme has been developed with the award-winning education charity MyBnk, and delivered in schools by their expert trainers who manage to make financial education fun. KickStart’s longer-term goal is to include financial education on the primary school curriculum, ensuring it is recognised and taught as a vital life skill. We’re engaging with the UK Government on this ambition.
