Quilter meets highest stewardship standards

Customers can be confident that Quilter is meeting the highest possible standards around responsible investment as we become signatories of the UK Stewardship Code.

We are delighted that Quilter has achieved signatory status of the Financial Reporting Council’s (FRC) UK Stewardship Code 2020, which sets world leading standards for investing money on behalf of our customers.

The Code sets stringent requirements on how our investment management businesses - Quilter Cheviot and Quilter Investors – allocates, manages, and oversees customers’ investments to deliver long-term value for them, as well as sustainable benefits for the wider economy, environment, and society.

Paul Feeney, Quilter CEO, stated:

Stewardship sits at the heart of our approach to responsible investment. It’s vital that we hold to account the companies and fund managers we invest in on key environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues if we are to tackle some of world’s greatest challenges, whilst protecting investment returns for our customers.”

As we see ever increasing demand for responsible and sustainable investment, advisers and customers can be confident that Quilter is meeting the highest possible stewardship standards set out in the UK Stewardship Code.

We are committed to maintaining our status as signatories to the Code and we look forward to reporting back to the FRC in 2022, as part of the annual stewardship reporting and review cycle.
