Quilter stands with our customers and the people of Ukraine

Date: 07 March 2022

Quilter wholeheartedly condemns the use of violence against Ukraine and its citizens.

Our love and support go out to the citizens of Ukraine along with their friends and family, and any of our customers or colleagues who may be impacted by this situation.

Trust Quilter’s experience

We want to reassure you that at Quilter, we have a long and successful history of guiding our customers through all kinds of markets. Experience shows us that investors achieve the best outcome when they adopt a calm and considered approach at times like these.

As one of the UK’s leading wealth management companies, we are a strong and resilient business and a safe home for your money. Our in-house experts are currently working hard to:

  • ensure our online systems are constantly monitored, to ensure they are safe and secure at all times
  • provide financial advisers with the services and tools they need to manage your investments in the best way possible
  • monitor what’s happening and keep advisers and customers informed about what this means for them.

What can I do during this time?

1. Take a long-term view

Share prices can rise and fall but, for the long-term investor, this shouldn’t influence short-term decisions. Read our guide to ‘Investing in volatile times’ for tips on how to make sound investment decisions in uncertain times.

2. Speak to your adviser

At times like these, the expertise of financial advisers is extremely valuable. Before making any changes to your investments, we strongly recommend you speak to your financial adviser or find a financial adviser if you don’t have one.

3. Stay connected to your investments

You can stay in touch with your investments through our online Customer Centre. In addition, we will also provide relevant updates online, so keep an eye on our website for more information.

Thank you for investing with us

In the first instance, please speak to your financial adviser or, if you need to get in touch with Quilter about your investments, please visit our ‘Contact us’ page.

Ukraine appeal

To lend our practical support to the situation, the Quilter Foundation is donating £100,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal and will match funds raised by our online appeal pound for pound up to £20,000.
