Richard Mitchell

As an investment manager, Richard’s primary responsibility is the management of discretionary portfolios on the behalf of individuals, charities, trusts, and pensions. Richard joined Quilter Cheviot in 2018, having previously spent seven years at Arbuthnot Latham, most recently as a Senior Investment Manager. He had responsibility for managing a significant number of private client portfolios, as well as being a voting member of the investment committee, heading up fixed income research. Prior to Arbuthnot, Richard worked for Principal Investment Management in Sevenoaks.

Richard graduated from University College London (UCL) with a degree in the History and Philosophy of Science. He holds the certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM), and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). Outside of work, Richard enjoys most sports, however rugby, football & cricket occupy most of his free time, both watching and playing where possible.
